AMA KTM National Dual Sport Trail Ride Series Event

August 22nd and 23rd, 2009

PRE ENTRY ONLY

GPS ONLY - There will be GPS meeting at Friday evening registration.

Two all day routes originating from the Mount Shasta area. Nearby lodging and camping is available in Mount Shasta, Lake Siskiyou and Weed. This ride is for experienced dual sport riders with above average skill level, there will be limited asphalt and extra fuel is recommended. Experience with GPS will be needed. There will be one main route with multiple bailouts, sweep riders, medical and radio support. This will be a GPS only ride and we will have a Friday evening tutorial session for those with units and limited knowledge. Bring a cable for your unit and we will be able to load most Garmin units withthe esxception of the 76s, Garmin III and Garmin IV. We have not yet had requests for Magellan or Lowrance so it remains to be seen if this will be successful.

Schedule - Headquarters/Staging is at the Best Western Tree House Inn - Mt. Shasta

Check in and tech inspection are on Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Mount Shasta Best Western Treehouse Inn in the back parking lot. Look for the Motorhome with the KTM/Norcal Dual Sport signage. Check in's and tech continues Saturday morning at 7 am and ends at 8 am. GPS, and lunch wristbands will be available at registration. Riders can leave Saturday morning as soon as they like. Sunday will be a repeat with a 7:30 pre-ride meeting at the Tree House.

Saturday evening we will be headed to the Weed Ale Brewery for dinner and tasting. 1-800-weed ale

Entry fee is $80 and pays for lunch both days, maps, GPS and extras. You can use the paypal payment option to enter. You can also print out an entry form and mail it to the address below. Please get on the email list to get all updates.
